Sorry Russ it's Josh's turn to Cook : Bills v Seahawks week 9 Recap

What a game. What a win. After barely beating the Pats if you told me that we were going to smoke the Seahawks I'd say you'd be lying and thank god I was wrong because the boys were on one today.

I'm on the team let Russ Josh cook he went 31-38 for 415 yards, just a monster game and that's thanks to the O-Line (who yes haven't been great as of late) gave Josh all the time in the world in the pocket to pick out his target and drop DIMES. Oh one more thing, Josh hit another career high with 154 yards in the first quarter making that his career high in a single quarter.

Other than Josh the offence had some bright spots with Cole Beasley having another great week picking up some important receptions along the way. Rookie Gabriel Davis got to add another tally to his season TD total and of course I have to show love to my guys Diggs and John Brown who both made the catches when it mattered combining for 217 yards.

Now y'know who really deserves the love? The defence. They were next to incredible today (sans the garbage time TD's in the 4th) putting a ton of pressure on Russ seeing his pocket collapse time and time again. They inflicted 2 interceptions, 5 sacks, and hitting Russ a grand total of 11 times making the Bills D the first defence to knockdown Russ 16 times in a single game. They haven't looked great the previous 4 weeks and I hope this is a big turning point for the defence getting them closer to where they were last year.

We're 7-2 for the first time since 1993 which was a season we ended up in the Super Bowl, I'm not saying that's the expectation for this year but we're definitely trending in the right direction. So let's relish a HUGE win against one of the best teams in the league and in the immortal words of Scarface from the Geto Boys after a win like that "You gotta let your nuts hang".
