WAGONS = CIRCLED: Bills v Colts wild card weekend Recap

Image
Holy shit, what a batshit fucking crazy game that was. The Bills had to overcome a lot to erase the 25 years of playoff hurt, from dogshit play calling from Brian Daboll, to Josh having to run all over the place, to Gabriel Davis toe-tapping it twice in a row, to that bullshit no fumble call there to end the game the Bills simply wouldn't die.  I'm going to keep it real with you, we did not look good. The play calling on offence was just absolutely horrible, shades of the Texans game from last year. We give Josh all of these weapons to throw to but hey let's run it 3 times in a row and pile on the 3 and outs. If we have any hope of making it to the Super Bowl, Brian Daboll has to figure it the fuck out.  Going into the game it was obvious Jonathan Taylor was going to be an issue with how we've handled the run. BUT the defence decided to show up and held him to only 78 yards, the passing game on the other hand was a weak spot. Rivers picked apart our secondary eve...

BIG DUBS: Bills v Steelers week 14 Recap

Image
I'll admit it, after the first half I was mad as hell, I was ready to shit can Brian Daboll, crawl in a hole, and die. But the boys came out of the half on FIRE to turn what could've been an embarrassing loss into a instant classic. That first half just was horrible, the Steelers D was all over us, Josh had no time in the pocket, and the running game couldn't get anywhere close to going. The play calling was dogshit terrble, shades of the playoff game against the Texans last year from Brian Daboll.  We were getting killed and badly needed a momentum switch, Taron Johnson came up big with his first career pick-six reading Big Ben's throw like a book taking it 51 yards to house and taking us into half time on a high note.    To. The. House. 📺 #PITvsBUF : https://t.co/x0Ul68YDP8 pic.twitter.com/yApEtpWw1K — Buffalo Bills (@BuffaloBills) December 14, 2020  Like I said the Bills came out HOT after halftime driving all the way down the field and seeing Josh connec...

Back in the New York Groove: Bills v Jets week 7 preview

Image
Look I'm gonna keep it real with you, we looked like shit against the Titans and we really looked like shit against the Chiefs. The O-Line killed us in the Titans game and the lack of hitting and defence in general killed us against the Chiefs. Those are fixable problems especially how early we are in the season but troubling especially after the HOT 4-0 start.  Wednesday McBeane made some moves by first releasing a guy who only a few months ago got a three year 15 million dollar extension Quinton Spain. A guy who probably could've helped out with the bad o-line play, but with Jon Feliciano hopefully coming back soon hopefully this Spain move will help in the long run opening up more cap space which could equal more help for the defence who really need it. About the defence, on wednesday D-Tackle Justin Zimmer was signed to the active roster. Zimmer who was about one of the only guys who looked halfway decent against the Chiefs will hopefully continue that agains...

What a miserable Monday night: Bills v Chiefs week 6 recap

Image
Well that was just awful, I knew going into a game against the reigning super bowl champions wasn't going to be easy. But I expected us to at least put up a fight, use the shitbag weather to our advantage, and not just sit there and take it all night long like we did.  Did I expect the reigning Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes to be an issue? of course I did, but did I expect us to just not hit him or apply any pressure whatsoever? No. Play after play the pocket would break down and Mahomes would break off and NO ONE hit him or even tried to push him out of bounds.  If you think not trying to defend the best QB in the league was a problem, how about giving up 245 rushing yards (which is a franchise record) with Clyde Edwards-Helaire getting 161 yards (his career high). Just like with Mahomes nobody was even trying to bring Helaire down, that highlighted the biggest issue that we saw last week where all Tennessee had to do is to get under 5 yards on a 3rd down and was an im...

The Kinda Good, The Mostly Bad, and The Really Ugly: Bills v Titans week 5 recap

Image
Well I have to say while I didn't expect a 16-0 season I definitely didn't expect our first loss of the year to come to the Covid stricken Tennessee Titans. But it did and it came in what I would call embarrassing fashion losing 42-16 on the first Tuesday Night Football game since 2010.  Going into the game I had high hopes, I mean c'mon we were 4-0, Josh Allen was rolling and so was our defence. But seeing the pregame injury report I knew this wasn't going to be an easy game, with Tre'Davious White and Matt Milano out the defence was going to be at a disadvantage.  I knew that Derrick Henry was going to be an issue and I don't see how we kinda didn't gameplan to contain one of the best backs in the league. Every time the titans had the ball on a third and short there was no way to stop tractorcito from just plowing over the defence. That was shown when he threw Josh Norman out the club, us as Bills fans are just going to have to accept that that picture ...

Things aren't looking so great for a Bills v Titans game

Image
As we inch closer to our match up against the Tennessee Titans who look like a hot covid mess right about now... There is another Titans’ player positive test this morning and the inconclusive positive test from yesterday is now a confirmed positive, per source. The Titans’ facility remains closed and the prohibition on in person activities continues. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 8, 2020 They had to cancel their game last week against the Steelers and now they're up to 23 total positive tests since September 24th. With their facility closed some of the Titans went out for a Tom Brady esque parking lot workout at a high school, breaking proto and pissing off the NFL. More positive tests in Nashville isn't the best thing when we're supposed to be travelling down there for a 1pm matchup on Sunday, the players were given an option to delay to Monday or Tuesday but we're supposed to be playing the Chiefs on Thursday night.  If that happens the Chiefs game would ...

No fear and just a little bit of loathing in Las Vegas: Bills v Raiders week 4 recap

Image
Last week when I was talking about the defensive struggles I mentioned how hopefully Josh Norman coming back from injury could make an impact in a secondary that didn't look so hot. Unfortunately for me it took Levi Wallace (who's been awesome this season) going out injured to see Josh Norman come in to get into his first game of the year and man oh man did he have a day.  As much as I'd like to say this was an offensive shootout I would be lying, and i'm not here to lie to you i'm here to remind you that the Bills are rolling and we're not slowing down yet. On the first drive of the game the O-line was giving Josh Allen all day to pick a target and fire a rocket down field that led to Gabriel Davis cashing in on his first and only reception of the day picking up a TD putting the Bills ahead early. Cole Beasley came up with an unbelievable catch holding onto the ball while being hit and spun around in the air thankfully landing in the endzone. Singletary loo...

It's another bad day to be a Josh Allen hater: Bills v Rams week 3 recap

Image
What a fucking roller coaster of emotions that game was; there's a lot of takeaways from today's game from the shoddy defensive play, to Aaron Donald embarrassing our O-Line, but let's stay positive and face the facts: this is Josh Allen's world and we're all living in it.  Forget a global pandemic 2020 is the year of Josh Allen and all the haters have to be sick by the first three weeks of football he's produced. Remember back in week 1 when I said that a Bills QB hadn't had over 300 yards of offence since 2016? Well this season Josh Allen has put together 3 straight weeks of over 300 yards of offence with another 311 yards against the big bad Rams Defence. Remember last year when he threw for a total of 20 TD's all year? this year Josh Allen already has 10 TD's in the first three games of the year. Want some more Josh Allen stats to throw in the haters faces? of course you do. Josh Allen is the first player in NFL history with 10 passing TD'...

Circling the Wagons: Bills v Jets week 1 recap

Image
It's finally here after the long abyss of nothingness that is 2020, Buffalo Bills football comes storming back and storm back they did. Coming out in the first half like the big swinging dicks we should, the defence forced Sam Darnold and the Jets into not 1, not 2, but 3 straight 3 and outs. Stuffing Le'Veon Bell left and right and having Trent Murphy sack the shit out of Darnold and the next play bringing the heat and forcing him to gift an interception to Matt Milano who was a machine last year. New man Stefon Diggs got involved early on the first drive which is what we absolutely love to see but most of the action in the passing game went through the main man John Brown.  John Brown was a WEAPON in the first half getting 5 receptions for 66 yards and a TD, he was everywhere running incredible routes and making incredible catches, he was unreal last year and only seems to have gotten better over the offseason. Love seeing the rookies getting involved early with a sweet littl...
